It is known that as many as 20,000 volunteer forces from around the world have joined Ukraine, which is in crisis due to the Russian invasion. Accordingly, South Korea's UDT special forces Rhee Ken and Canada's famous sniper are also drawing attention by expressing their intention to participate.

An elite Canadian sniper named "Wali" has expressed his intention to participate in the Ukrainian war.

In an interview with CBC Canada, Wali said, "A ridiculous thing happened in the 21st century when Ukraine was bombarded for choosing Europe instead of Russia. I can never agree to Russia's invasion of Ukraine," he said, explaining the background of his participation.

Britain and Canada have officially announced that they can participate if they want to participate in Ukraine. The United States also makes it clear that it is not subject to legal punishment. Although it is not possible to wage a national war with Russia, it is a position that it will not stop if there is a citizen who wants to fight the aggressor Russia.

Korean volunteer soldiers are sentenced to imprisonment if they apply to Ukraine?

The Korean government has warned that unauthorized entry into a travel-prohibited country will result in up to one year in prison.

Nevertheless, it is reported that there are about 100 applicants who want to participate in the Ukrainian war as a "voluntary force." The Ukrainian Embassy in Korea said, "There are steadily many inquiries about participation support. There are also many inquiries from people who do not meet their eligibility to join the volunteer army, he said. Eligibility for enlistment is an adult aged 18 or older who has served in the military, and the embassy currently guides related procedures only to those who are eligible for enlistment when asked by volunteers.
Earlier, Rhee Ken, a former captain of the Navy Special Forces (UDT), also said he left for the country to participate in the Ukrainian volunteer army. Former captain Lee recently arrived in Ukraine safely through his Instagram account. We will fight on the front line. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "Think about how to support our passport rather than invalidating it while wasting time."

The Ukrainian government said, "Foreign volunteers who entered Ukraine to fight the invasion of Russia will receive Ukrainian citizenship." Foreigners who have been issued citizenship by such attributes are expected to become Ukrainian troops as they are grouped into separate organizations such as the International Legion.
