The Blue House's General Disclosure Decided! @Cheong Wa Dae

Everland's know-how will be melted in the opening of Cheong Wa Dae

@Cheong Wa Dae

Ahead of the opening of Cheong Wa Dae, it is known to refer to the know-how in visitor management of Everland, Korea's largest amusement park.

I put 10 beautiful photos of Cheong Wa Dae at the bottom of the post! Let's read it till the end and take a look!

More information about this can be found in my blog post,

So many people will come to Cheong Wa Dae

He expects "cloud crowds" to flock if Cheong Wa Dae is opened at the same time as his inauguration on May 10, and is operating simulations internally to prevent smooth positions, viewing and safety accidents.

The Cheong Wa Dae relocation task force (TF) recently discussed ways to manage visitors with Everland. On the first day of its opening alone, at least thousands, as many as tens of thousands of visitors are expected. This is to review several scenarios so that there is no inconvenience. They are considering measures to prevent safety accidents by visitors that could cloud the purpose of opening the presidential office and prevent damage to existing Cheong Wa Dae facilities and green areas.

Learn at Everland

TF will receive know-how on visitor verification procedures, appropriate number of visitors per hour, and maximum number of visitors per unit area at Everland. In addition, they also reviewed quarantine measures such as restrictions on visitors due to the spread of COVID-19. Everland is a world-class amusement park with about 6 million visitors a year. It also holds the record of up to 120,000 people a day. This kind of know-how is the best in Korea.

Learn at Gyeongbokgung Palace

TF reportedly referred not only to Everland but also Gyeongbokgung Palace, a tourist destination in downtown Seoul.

You can find more information about Gyeongbokgung Palace in my blog post.

They received related data from Gyeongbokgung Palace, which is known to attract more than 20,000 visitors every weekend, and compared it with the Cheong Wa Dae opening scenario.

In addition, TF has reportedly decided to introduce a pre-booking system for visits to Cheong Wa Dae.

At first, they tried to allow visitors to enjoy a walk in the Cheong Wa Dae compound at any time without a reservation, but they changed the way in consideration of realistic conditions. To this end, TF is promoting the establishment of a reservation system through Kakao and Naver. It is undecided whether to make a reservation in advance on a first-come, first-served basis or by lottery.

They are also working hard to come up with supplementary measures so that children, the elderly, and the disabled will not be restricted from visiting the Blue House. TF expects that it will have no choice but to accept reservations in advance at the beginning of its opening, but it may later switch back to voluntary visits.
